There seems to be concern among young writers that they have to be a certain age before they can publish a book. Nothing can be further from the truth. You are never too young, or too old, to be an author. From a publisher’s point of view, it would be hard to turn away a book that will make a profit, especially since the age of the author isn’t usually something the readers regularly check. In the end, it’s the story that matters the most. The important thing to keep in mind if you are a young would-be author, is that you will probably have to have a parent of guardian be a co-signer for any contract you enter into. Also if you are publishing ebooks, some sites might restrict your access. It is also important to conduct yourself professionally in any business dealings.
